Welcome to Shakespeare Class!

Shakespeare Class is a vibrant mixed Year 5 and Year 6 community where learning is exciting, challenging, and rewarding. We absolutely love working with this age group and believe in a relational approach that nurtures strong connections, enabling every child to make significant progress and reach their full potential.

Our curriculum is rich and varied, covering a wide range of engaging texts to spark curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning. Alongside the core subjects, children enjoy opportunities to explore music, art, PSHE, and PDW, ensuring there is something for everyone to thrive in.

We also value experiences beyond the classroom. From local sporting events to residential trips, our pupils develop confidence, teamwork, and resilience while creating lasting memories.

Children are encouraged to use their voice and take on leadership opportunities, helping them grow as responsible and confident individuals. For our Year 6 pupils, this includes becoming prefects, where they learn important life skills such as responsibility, communication, and teamwork.
