Our Ethos
At Ashleigh C of E Primary School, we are extremely proud of our identity as a Church of England school, rooted in Christian vision and values that help guide and inspire our whole community. At the same time, we are an inclusive school where every child and family is warmly welcomed, respected and celebrated, regardless of background or belief.
We strive for our pupils to truly embed our core values of respect, compassion, service, hope, aspiration and forgiveness — not just during their time with us, but as life‑long principles that shape who they become. These values support our children to grow into thoughtful, caring and confident individuals who recognise their own worth and the worth of others.
Among the subpages in this section, you will find examples of how our Christian ethos is lived out each day. From pupil leadership roles to collective worship and community action, each element reflects our vision of “Learning to love; Loving to learn – Life in all its Fullness” (John 10:10). This vision sits at the heart of everything we do, inspiring us to nurture not only academic growth but spiritual, emotional and personal flourishing for every child.
