Pupil Premium
Pupil premium is additional Government funding which we use to support the attainment of our disadvantaged children (children from families who claim free school meals now or at any point in the past 6 years).
What is Pupil Premium Funding?
The Pupil Premium Grant is additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers. This provision is reviewed termly throughout the year and updated annually, every September.
The Service Premium is also included in the Pupil Premium Grant and gives schools extra funding to support children and young people with parents in the armed forces. This provision is also reviewed termly throughout the year and updated annually.
We plan for the use of our pupil premium over a 3 year period and review these plans annually. Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we plan to allocate the funding.
